Hotel Palisade: WBAC networking

An exceptional WBAC networking event took place at The Hotel Palisade on Tuesday June 6 with several VIPs including The Daily Telegraph’s Jen Jagielski (Eat Street) and Vivid's light curator, Anthony Bastic in attendande while Newcastle’s Inner City Winemakers provided fine, hand crafted wines.

Generously hosted by Dom Bienke and The Hotel Palisade team, WBAC took over stunning function rooms on level four - complete with a private balcony to take in the venue’s spectacular Sydney vista. Guests on the night enjoyed a delicious cocktail on arrival and were then treated to the luxe ‘Henry Deane, Graze Away’ menu – a teaser of the delicious food available at the hotel’s upstairs bar.

In the set-up of the evening, some of the WBAC team tried the mulled wine available at the public bar - a highly recommended option during the winter months.

Loyal Walsh Bay dining advocate, Jen Jagielski from The Daily Telegraph’s Eat Street page also joined guests on the evening.  Her recent review of Vivid dining hot spots has kept Walsh Bay in the spotlight despite installations not extending to the precinct this year.

Vivid's ever passionate light curator Anthony Bastic also kindly carved out some time from his mid-Vivid media schedule to give guests a glimpse of the Vivid festival highlights and remind us of just how much foot traffic and revenue this wonderful activation brings to the harbour city at a time when Sydney-siders would just as soon hibernate!

Special thanks to Rob Wilce and Janine Adele from Newcastle-based Inner City Winemakers supplied guests on the night with a selection of their hand crafted wines, including the delightful Lucille Sparkling - bottle fermented to achieve vibrant fruit, a creamy mouth feel and crisp finish.

The Palisade Hotel’s opulent rooftop bar can also be booked exclusively for private events or alternatively a private function room is a more economical option. For more contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
